Operating in the state economy requires a legal team with a deep understanding of its rules, processes and strategies. Dentons has led the way in providing that understanding to our clients.

Our team has been responsible for various studies for the legislative affairs commission of the NPC Standing Committee, the Legal Affairs Office of the State Council, the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) and the Ministry of Culture.

We also play an active role in the setting of laws, administrative regulations and national standards, and we lead the National Lawyers Association on the formulation of industrial standards.

Fulfilling the important role of chief coordinator in restructuring and reorganization projects, we have been instrumental in enabling Chinese SOEs to successfully complete comprehensive corporate restructuring and property transactions based on the reform and development of state-owned enterprises.
