In the field of corporate affairs and securities, Mr. Qiu has advised on the structuring, IPOs, listings overseas and domestic, refinancing, and relisting of dozens of enterprises. For instance, He has provided services in the merger of Guotai and Jun’an Securities Co., Ltd., the establishment of the Guotai Fund Management Co., Ltd., the Jintai Fund, and the Investment Fund for the Development of China Telecom. Mr. Qiu also acted as the external expert for the BOC International (China). for stock issues.

In the field of foreign direct investment, Mr. Qiu has provided comprehensive services to ZENON Environmental Inc., one of the largest water treatment companies in the world, EURIZON Finance Group, one of the top assets management groups in Europe and Sun Life Insurance Company (Japan), Mr. Qiu also provide legal services to HEIDELBERG Cement, one of the top four cement provider of the world, and America located I-BANKER securities, regarding their investments in China.

Mr. Qiu also has an extensive experience in the real estate industry and has represented several real estate development companies in the projects development, sales and projects transfer.

Pertaining to the field of banking, Mr. Qiu has provided services for international and local banks. For example, he advised on the disposal of non-performing loans worth RMB 11 billion Yuan for the Industrial & Commercial Bank of China (“ICBC”). Mr. Qiu is a member of the counsel team of the legal department of the Bank of China Headquarter.

In the field of insurance, Mr. Qiu is taking the position of Chief Counsel of Union Life Insurance Company, one of the top ten life insurance companies in China.

Furthermore, Mr. Qiu has represented clients in numerous lawsuits and arbitrations regarding, inter alia, business risk precaution, disputes relating to certificates of deposits and corporation standardizing operation.
